ELLE Magazine November 2015: Director Ava DuVernay

Director Ava DuVernay covers Elle magazines Women in Hollywood issue in one of five covers. She looks gorgeous!

I subscribe to Next Issue for my magazines and was pleasantly surprised by this issue. I don't know what the December issue will be like, but this one had two of my favorites inside: Models Melodie Monrose and Cora Emmanuel featured in editorials.

Cora's was about fur and swimwear,  which I found odd because who wears fur to a beach? That's the fantasy of fashion and sometimes I see editorials which make no sense to me. I only screened shot one photo of her editorial (see below) which was photographed by David Bellemere, with styling by Samira Nasr.

Here's Melodie's fabulous editorial, which was also photographed by David Bellemere and also styled by Samira Nasr.

Ad Campaigns:Melodie Monrose For Joe Fresh

Check out Melodie Monrose for one of Canada's hottest stores to hit our shores: Joe Fresh. If you love bargains just as much as I do then Joe Fresh is certainly the store to find them in. The Canadian brand recently opened a 14,000-square-foot flagship store on Fifth Avenue and when we hit NYC this summer, my girls and I will definitely be there. Right now I'm loving their denim trench coat along with their denim tunic and wide leg jeans, which is so my style.

While Visions of LANVIN SS 2011 Prêt-à-Porter Still Dance In My Head...

...My baby is leaving to attend a college in San Francisco and she received a welcome book all about her school. She's a creative type just like her Mom and the rest of her sisters and she wants to become a visual stylist and work in retail in NYC. Dad's not too happy because he wants her to be in NYC, but I taught our children to soar and soar she can to experience the world. While reviewing her book I came across this beautiful photo below of Ataui Deng, Jourdan Dunn, Janeil Williams and Ajak Deng shot by an alumnus of the school that my daughter will be attending by the name of Tomas Delucia. It's just as beautiful as as the ones in color from the LANVIN 2011 SS RTW.

It's titled, 'Lanvin Backstage Beauties' and I searched throughout the web for it and no such luck and that's how I created my latest screen saver using different photos from the show of one of the best encores ever.

And On A Final Note...

...On the fashion runway, there's nothing like the finale and everyone remembers Alber Elbaz's for Lanvin finale from last years runway in which five gorgeous models sauntered down the runway in gathered and draped printed silk jumpsuits. The most significant part of the whole show stopper was that each look was a beauty unto itself.

Check out these fab finales from years past featuring the worlds top models of their eras.

I just love seeing the finale after a fierce collection. Don't you?
Which designer is going to have one fierce finale that will have us all talking about it?
