What's Haute Now: The Holiday Ad Campaigns

After a little retail therapy this weekend, I snapped these two new ad campaign photos featuring Chanel Iman for Forever 21 and Julia Sarr-Jamois in a major ad campaign for cosmetic giant Sephora.

Chanel Iman "Let's It Glow"

"She Who Leaves A Trail Of Glitter Is Never Forgotten."

After seeing the ad in the Sephora store I couldn't wait to get home to see if they had it on their website. No such luck, but they did have this gorgeous video of her below available for inspiration:

Le Looks Du Jour: The Fatabulous Shala Monroque @ Paris Fashion Week

This is the style of Shala that I'm used to seeing. I really missed seeing Julia Sarr-Jamois during PFW, but Shala, Shiona and Tamu brought it!

The Streets Are Talking!!!

Every fashion week our eyes are focused on the web or if you're one of those who've scored an invite to the fashion shows you get to see style first hand. Street style is what really fascinates me and it's not for me to swoon over what the celebrities are wearing because some of them just don't excite me in their choice of style unless they're an individualist like Solange Knowles or a celebrity who is O40&Fab. I've found some new favorites this past fashion week and will write a post about them later.

Fro News:Julia Sarr-Jamois For Barney New York's Spring Campaign

Gorgeous in BALENCIAGA

                                             Gorgeous in Giambatistta Valli

While some in the fashion media have reported the return of the iconic '60s and '70s model Penelope Tree's return to the modeling scene for  Barney's spring campaign, I just happened to rest my eyes on Julia's gorgeous photographs in the latest  issue of Vanity Fair.  Under the direction of Dennis Freedman, Barneys New York selected seven stylish women to complement Tree and complete the campaign. Similar to Tree, each of these women—Jane Aldrige, Sybil Buck, Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Jessica Saund, Sarah Ruba and Marine Vacth—bring their own brand of individuality and beauty to the Barneys campaign.

Julia is a former model so she's quite comfortable in front of the camera. It's amazing how her popularity has swayed how the fashion industry is now conducting business because we aren't following those they continually place in front of us as the trendsetters and influencers, but those who set their own standards of style and beauty.

Behind the Scenes: Julia Sarr-Jamois for TIBI SS 2012

Trendsetter's Julia Sarr-Jamois and Elin Kling, behind the scenes for TIBI'S 2012 Spring/Summer Campaign.

Ever since I found out Wonderland Magazine fashion editor and blogger favorite, Julia Sarr-Jamois would be featured in the 2012 Spring/Summer advertisement campaign for TIBI, I have been searching almost everyday to find a glimpse of her during the shoot.

Today was my lucky day because stylist Elin Kling of the fabulous blog, Style by Kling  and TIBI PR posted these gorgeous photos of Julia on her blog and on their Twitter page. From what I can see the ad campaign will be amazing and I can't wait to see the finished results!
