The Waris Dirie Foundation, that supports women and girls to end female genital mutilation (FGM) worldwide in which she has fought so bravely to end for 12 years.
The Liya Kebede Foundation which works toward ensuring maternal health and saving the lives of women and children around the world. Not only are these two women beautiful, they are inspiring and the are contributing to the well being of women and children which makes them even more beautiful.
Waris' movie "
Desert Flower
" is based on her life which also stars her friend Liya Kebede, be sure to read this wonderful book and be inspired to change the world by your actions and not words.
