First Look-Glamour Magazine March 2014: Actress Lupita Nyong'o

Many of us may love her makeup looks, so now Glamour magazine is giving us just a little taste of Lupita Nyong'o's makeup routine from some of her favorite makeup artists, whom she has worked with in the March issue of Glamour.

I think her makeup artist, Nick Barose does a wonderful job of applying Lupita's makeup. I don't know why some women shy away from bold colors, but if you're a richly hued woman like myself and Lupita, you can rock those bold and beautiful colors proudly. All it takes is confidence. Makeup artist Christian McCulloch created these makeup looks based upon Lupita's love of color.

The Best of the September Issues: Issa Ray For Glamour Magazine September 2013

As I stated earlier, my digital September issues are arriving slowly to my in-box just as fast as they can publish them. I've seen the latest issue of Glamour magazine and was pleasantly surprised to see up-and-comer Issa Rae featured in their exclusive: "Look Who's Running Hollywood Now" editorial along with other's who are now setting the tone. I can't wait to see her new show that she and Shonda Rhimes has in store for us.

The First Lady's Glamour Magazine Cover.

The First Lady will grace the December issue of Glamour magazine which is due to hit the shelves November 10th. The December Women of the Year issue will feature five different covers with the top five influential women from around the world.

This is also the first time in Glamour's 70 year history that a First Lady has graced the cover. Mrs. Obama was also given a special award for her commitment to mentoring young women. The First Lady is establishing mentoring relationships between top women in the administration and girls in need in the DC area, and is encouraging women leaders around the country to do the same where they live.

For the past 19 years, Glamour has saluted inspiring, high-achieving women through their Women of the Year Awards. This annual event has had an astonishing impact on politics and society—sometimes even saving lives.
