Azzedine Alaïa Returns To Paris Fashion Week

One of the biggest names in the fashion, Azzedine Alaïa is set to show at Paris Fashion Week after previously showing his collections to only a select few fashion insiders in recent years. The Tunisian born, Paris based fashion designer said he plans to show a series of semi-couture pieces during the start of Parisian haute couture fashion shows which takes place between 4 and 8 July of this year.

Alaïa has dressed many of worlds most stylish and high-profile women, from Grace Jones, Tina Turner, Naomi Campbell and Michelle Obama, to name a few. His clothes highlight the body, like a second skin that emphasizes a womans curves. Azzedine Alaïa never disappoints the women who love him with his ever changing array of clothing and accessories. The First Lady's Glamour Magazine Cover.

The First Lady will grace the December issue of Glamour magazine which is due to hit the shelves November 10th. The December Women of the Year issue will feature five different covers with the top five influential women from around the world.

This is also the first time in Glamour's 70 year history that a First Lady has graced the cover. Mrs. Obama was also given a special award for her commitment to mentoring young women. The First Lady is establishing mentoring relationships between top women in the administration and girls in need in the DC area, and is encouraging women leaders around the country to do the same where they live.

For the past 19 years, Glamour has saluted inspiring, high-achieving women through their Women of the Year Awards. This annual event has had an astonishing impact on politics and society—sometimes even saving lives.
